GripLock System
The GripLock cold swaging system uses a mechanical coupler to splice deformed reinforcing bars. The GripLock coupler is swaged onto the reinforcing bars by using BARUS cold swaging presses and dies to deform the coupler sleeve onto the rebar profile. This produces a secure mechanical interlock between the profile of the reinforcing bar and the coupler.
GripLock-ST

GripLock-ST is a two-piece swage coupler system. The coupler is swaged onto the bar with a Barus bench press prior to installation. During installation in the field, only one of the two bar need to be rotated to complete the assembly. No torque wrench needed for assembly. A regular pipe or chain wrench can be used to overcome installation difficulties with long and heavy bars, when needed.
GripLock-SL

GripLock-SL is a cold-swaged coupling sleeve uses a BARUS hydraulic swaging press with special dies to deform the sleeve around the ends of the spliced reinforcing bars. This produces a positive mechanical interlock with the reinforcing bars.
GripLock-PS

GripLock-PS is a position coupler with a threaded stud between two female GripLock couplers. It is used for applications where bars can not be rotated or it is not practical to rotate the bars due to bent bars, pile installations to engage the threads or when bars are too long and heavy.
GripLock-Anchor-Nut

GripLock Anchor-Nut provides an alternative method of creating a simpler and more effective rebar end anchorage than the traditional hooked rebar within the concrete. It consists of an Anchor Nut installed onto a GripLock Male coupler. Considering different class of concrete, rebar grade and placement, standard and custom size Anchor Nuts available depending on the provisions by structural engineer.
GripLock-Weldable

GripLock Weldable couplers provide a practical solution for creating a mechanical connection between reinforcing steel bar and structural steel sections or plates. The coupler is internally parallel threaded on one end with the other end or exterior surface machined for welding. After welding coupler to steel member following BARUS instructions and AWS Code, a male GripLock coupler deformed onto rebar is rotated into the weldable coupler to complete the installation.
GripLock-Headed Bars

GripLock Headed Bars is another method for rebar anchorage. It provides an alternative method of creating a simpler and more effective rebar end anchorage than the traditional hooked rebar within the concrete. It consists of a GripLock Rebar Head cold swaged onto a deformed rebar for development.
